Terms of service

Effective 8 September 2026. Between Waitstamp LLC ("WaitStamp") and the company that creates an account (the "Carrier").

What WaitStamp does

WaitStamp produces documentation and communications about detention on the Carrier's behalf: arrival and departure times recorded from the driver's taps or entered by dispatch, notices to brokers, and claims with supporting evidence. WaitStamp is software. It is not a collection agency, a law firm, or a party to the Carrier's contracts with brokers or shippers, and it does not guarantee that any claim will be paid.

Carrier responsibilities

The Carrier is responsible for the accuracy of load information it provides, for obtaining any consent its drivers need to receive text messages before adding their numbers, and for reviewing claims before they are sent when auto-send is off. Notices and claims are sent in the Carrier's name to broker contacts the Carrier supplies.

Fees

Solo is $39 per month for one truck. Fleet is $99 per month and covers 4 trucks, then $25 per additional truck. Fleet Plus is $249 per month and covers 12 trucks, then $20 per additional truck. These are the amounts charged: any sales tax that applies is included in them, and is itemised on your invoice. Paying yearly costs 10 months instead of 12. Billed by card through Stripe after a 30-day trial that needs no card. A truck counts toward the bill in a month only if it was named on at least one load in that month, so a truck you park comes off the bill. Cancel any time from Settings; service continues to the end of the paid period.

Data

The Carrier owns its data. WaitStamp keeps it as described in the Privacy policy and deletes it on account deletion. WaitStamp may use aggregated, de-identified facility dwell statistics to improve the service.

Availability and warranties

WaitStamp depends on email and text delivery, on the driver choosing to tap his link, and on third-party services it does not control. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. WaitStamp does not warrant that a time it records will be accepted by any broker.

Liability and indemnity

Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits. WaitStamp's total liability is limited to the fees the Carrier paid in the prior three months. The Carrier will indemnify WaitStamp against claims arising from load information it supplied, from communications sent in its name, and from driver consent it was responsible for obtaining.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
